Palliative care.

What is palliative care?

It is specialized care for people with serious or terminal illness. The support focuses on providing relief from the symptoms, pain and stress of a serious health condition. The goal is to improve the quality of life for both the Client and the family.

While some people receive palliative support within a hospice or old people’s home, palliative care at home is becoming a popular choice for many individuals who want to stay in an environment where they feel most comfortable. It is often referred to as hospice at home.
